3 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Anthony DeSclafani did not make it out of the second inning in Tuesday's NLDS Game 4 7-2 loss to the Dodgers. DeSclafani was given a very short leash in such a pivotal game, pitching just 1 2/3 innings and allowing two runs on five hits and no walks with two strikeouts. Behind from the start, manager Gabe Kapler decided to go to the bullpen early in an attempt to stay in the game. DeSclafani pitched well overall during the regular season, but struggled mightily against the Dodgers. This theme was on display during this game, and the Giants will now look ahead to a must-win Game 5 on Thursday.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
