3 years agoEdmonton Oilers goaltender Mike Smith will get the nod for the team's season opener on Wednesday against Vancouver. The veteran netminder will look to build on a very strong campaign. He went 21-6-2 last season with a 2.31 goals-against average, a .923 save percentage and three shutouts, making Mikko Koskinen's numbers look silly.
