3 years agoBoston Red Sox starter Nathan Eovaldi will take the mound in Game 2 of the American League Championship Series against the Houston Astros on Saturday. It'll be Eovaldi's third outing of the postseason after starting the Wild Card game and making a start during the Division Series against the Tampa Bay Rays. In 10.1 playoff innings this year, the right-hander has struck out 16 batters while surrendering seven hits, three earned runs, two home runs, and a walk. He previously made one start against the Astros during the regular season, allowing 11 hits, five earned runs, three walks, and a home run in 5.2 innings on June 9. He also struck out five during that outing.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
