3 years agoKansas City Chiefs running back Darrel Williams will get his first start of the season in Week 6 versus the Washington Football Team with Clyde Edwards-Helaire (knee) being placed on injured reserve earlier in the week. Williams is the only running back to score a touchdown for the Chiefs this season and will face a Washington Football Team defense that has only allowed two rushing touchdowns on the season and just a hair over 79 yards per game to opposing backfields. Williams will be the lead back, but it's certainly a possibility that veteran Jerick McKinnon will be the third down back. Even if McKinnon gets involved, Williams should still be expected to lead the Chiefs backfield. Entering Sunday's contest, Williams should be considered a RB2.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
