The 34-year-old will start his second season at the club, after putting together a 19-8-5 record in 2020-21 with a 2.63 goals-against average, a .915 save percentage and two shutouts. Talbot has always been strong against the Ducks, owning a 12-7-2 career record in the matchup with a 2.08 goals-against average, a .932 save percentage and three shutouts.
