3 years agoNew Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas (ankle) could return to the field soon. Thomas, who has yet to suit up for New Orleans this year as he recovers from surgery on his ankle, is eligible to return to practice this week. The star wideout will be rejoining a Saints' wideout group that has produced the fewest receptions and second-fewest yards in the league this season. Injuries and recent team drama aside, Thomas was one of the most consistent fantasy wideouts through the first four years of his career- as he averaged 150.5 targets, 117.5 receptions, 1,378 yards, and eight touchdowns per year. Fantasy managers who stashed him could be getting a second-half WR1/2 as soon as in Week 7 against the Seahawks, an appealing matchup.--Tim Capurso
