3 years agoMontreal Canadiens winger Mike Hoffman (lower body) skated on the third line at Monday's practice and looks ready to make his team debut on Tuesday against San Jose. Hoffman missed the whole preseason after signing a three-year, $13.5 million deal with Montreal during the offseason. The 31-year-old had a pretty miserable time in St. Louis last season, even sitting out some games as a healthy scratch, but he's previously had some very productive campaigns with Ottawa and Florida. Hoffman boasts 189 goals and 395 points in 545 career games. It looks like he'll also be on the first power-play unit on Tuesday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
