3 years agoSeattle Kraken centerman Yanni Gourde made his season debut on Tuesday night against New Jersey after being activated off Injured Reserve earlier in the day. He scored an assist on the man advantage in the 4-2 loss to New Jersey. More importantly, Gourde played without restrictions and played a lot. He took 26 shifts in all while playing over 22 minutes. Gourde also won 13 of 23 from the faceoff dot and was on the power play for 4:44. The Kraken coaching staff will lean on Gourde a lot, which will mean continued opportunities.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
