3 years agoColorado Avalanche goaltender Jonas Johansson will get the nod for his season debut in Thursday's meeting with the Panthers. Darcy Kuemper opened the season for Colorado with a 1-2-0 record. Johansson had a miserable time in Buffalo last season but managed to put together a good 5-1-1 record for the Avalanche after coming over via a trade. He posted a 2.06 goals-against average with a .913 save percentage in Colorado and had one shutout. Jared Bednar's team has had a rocky start to the season, but Nathan MacKinnon has missed time due to COVID-19 and Gabriel Landeskog has been sidelined with a suspension.
