Latavius Murray, Sammy Watkins Ruled Out
3 years agoBaltimore Ravens running back Latavius Murray (ankle) and wide receiver Sammy Watkins (thigh) have been ruled out in Week 7. With Murray inactive, the Ravens will likely turn to another three-man committee approach, which will include Devonta Freeman, Le'Veon Bell, and Ty'Son Williams. With Lamar Jackson always having the possibility to lead the team in carries, no option in the Baltimore backfield has any sort of high ceiling in this game. Freeman and Bell at best offer RB3/FLEX appeal, but will likely need to score a touchdown to have a solid game of fantasy production. With Watkins out, Rashod Bateman should once again see a prominent role in the offense serving as the No. 2 wide receiver behind Marquise Brown. Still, he will likely be third in line for targets as Mark Andrews figures to command a significant target share.
