3 years agoErik Jones begins this Kansas race from the 17th position on Sunday afternoon. That may be good news based on his 10.14 average finish. That includes five top-ten results in his previous seven races on the 1.5-mile speedway. The risk lies in the fact that with the Richard Petty Motorsports driver ended 25th during the Spring race. When he drove on the Joe Gibbs team, Jones finished in the top ten five of six times. Again, can Jones find a way to channel that success to the No. 43 car?
