Chase Elliott Finishes Second Sunday
3 years agoChase Elliott kept fighting and fighting all afternoon through the raindrops and all. In the end, Elliott and his No. 9 car scraped the wall and got within a few seconds but no further at Kansas. As a result, Elliott wound up second on Sunday at the Hollywood Casino 400. With other drivers having much worse issues, the Hendrick Motorsports Racing driver is now more than 30 points ahead of the bubble. Elliott now stands an excellent chance of advancing to Phoenix while Kyle Busch and Ryan Blaney are now on the bubble.
