3 years agoToronto Maple Leafs forwards Auston Matthews and Mitchell Marner will play on separate lines on Monday against Carolina. Marner has joined John Tavares' line that also includes Alexander Kerfoot, and Matthews will skate with Michael Bunting and William Nylander. Toronto has dropped three straight games and got completely hammered by the Penguins at the weekend in a 7-1 loss, so changes were definitely needed. Matthews is without a point and carries a minus-two rating through his first three appearances of the season and Marner boasts just one point in five outings with a minus-three rating.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
