3 years agoTaking a step up to the light heavyweight division, former middleweight title challenger Marvin Vettori headlined Saturday's card with Paulo Costa and won the bout by unanimous decision (46-48, 46-48, 46-48). Through 25 minutes of action, Vettori tallied 190 significant strikes (214 total strikes) and earned just one takedown on five tries. We will have to see if the new weight class sticks for Vettori, or if it was just a product of making the main event happen with Costa. If Vettori can continue his high output, he can earn points in fantasy, especially if he gets more five-round showdowns.--Matt Bricker - RotoBaller
