3 years agoIt was not the main-event showing Paulo Costa wanted on Saturday when he dropped a unanimous decision at the light heavyweight weight class to Marvin Vettori, another former middleweight title challenger. Statistically, Costa tallied 163 significant strikes (172 total strikes) and landed his lone takedown try on the night. The only two losses of Costa's career have come in his last two outings, but they have come against the very top tier of the UFC's middleweight division.
