3 years agoThe Miami Dolphins have signed free-agent running back Duke Johnson to their practice squad, according to Adam Schefter. This move comes after Malcolm Brown (quadriceps) was placed on Injured Reserve, so Miami gets some more depth to an already thin backfield. Myles Gaskin and Salvon Ahmed will likely see a timeshare moving forward, so Johnson probably won't have much of a role unless another injury were to occur. Gaskin has had his struggles early on in the season, but he looks like the running back to roster in the Miami backfield. Ahmed could be worth a roster spot with Brown out of the mix for a couple weeks, but Johnson does not possess any fantasy value at the moment.--Tommy Adamopoulos - RotoBaller
