3 years agoThe Seattle Mariners announced on Wednesday that the team outrighted first baseman and outfielder Jake Bauers after the 26-year-old cleared waivers. Bauers hit .209 with a .290 on-base percentage, a 63 wRC+, four home runs, and six stolen bases in 315 plate appearances split between Cleveland and Seattle this past season. Seattle currently has Evan White and Ty France on hand as options at first base. Seattle's current outfield options on the 40-man roster include Mitch Haniger, Jake Fraley, Jarred Kelenic, Kyle Lewis, and Taylor Trammell.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
