3 years agoNew Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas (ankle) was missing from practice again on Thursday. It has been a frustrating ride with Thomas as fantasy managers who took the risk on the wideout expected him to return after about six weeks. Now, it appears that the 28-year-old will miss at least Week 8 and possibly even more time. Plus, even once Thomas returns, the situation he's returning to is far different than the situation that helped him become the best wide receiver in fantasy in 2019. The Saints average 25.8 pass attempts per game, placing them last of all teams. Perhaps the former superstar will help kickstart the stumbling offense, but it seems more likely that, even once he finally returns, Thomas will be disappointing.--Jordan Eisen
