Robert Tonyan Reportedly Suffers Significant Knee Injury
3 years agoGreen Bay Packers' tight end Robert Tonyan (knee) exited Thursday's win over the Arizona Cardinals in the third quarter with a "significant" knee injury. According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Tonyan suffered a significant knee injury and will have an MRI on Friday to determine its severity. The 27-year-old caught 3-of-4 targets for 49 yards before exiting. Tonyan is expected to miss time, and the MRI results should give fantasy managers a more precise timeline. Marcedes Lewis, Josiah Deguara, and Dominique Dafney would be the Packers' top tight ends while Tonyan is sidelined. Fantasy managers who need tight-end help or a replacement for Tonyan can add Lewis off the waiver wire.
