3 years agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen will draw a favorable matchup versus the New England Patriots in Week 8. Even with the emergence of Mike Williams this year, Allen has continued to be a consistent double-digit source of points for managers this year. As part of a high-scoring offense, Allen only has one touchdown on the year, but he has caught 39 balls for 419 yards. The Patriots secondary hasn't been anything to fear this season and are allowing 172 yards per game to opposing wide receivers. They have also given up seven touchdowns on the season. The Chargers offense got embarrassed in their most recent game and with the team having a bye week to rest and recover, better results should be in store for Sunday. Managers should continue to feel confident firing up Allen as a WR2 with WR1 potential in Week 8.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
