3 years agoWashington Football Team quarterback Taylor Heinicke has the look of a lower-end QB2 in Week 8 on the road against the Denver Broncos. The 28-year-old hasn't been overly impressive in the past couple of weeks as he has thrown for just two touchdowns in his past three games. His rushing upside heightens his floor, but he hasn't necessarily used his legs all that often this season, other than in Week 7 against Green Bay where he ran 10 times for 95 yards. The Washington offense will be shorthanded without Curtis Samuel (groin) and Dyami Brown (knee) on Sunday, so Heinicke will likely need to lean heavily on Terry McLaurin. Denver has given up just eight passing touchdowns so far this season, so it may be unreasonable to expect Heinicke to light it up through the air this week.--Tommy Adamopoulos - RotoBaller
