3 years agoCarolina Hurricanes goaltender Antti Raanta will make his team debut in a special matchup on Friday against his former team, the Chicago Blackhawks. The Finnish netminder started his NHL career with the Blackhawks, skating in 39 games over two seasons. He has found his way to Carolina via New York and Arizona. Raanta boasts strong career numbers with a 2.46 goals-against average and a .919 save percentage, but he always struggles to stay healthy and hasn't been able to give it his all for a number of seasons. Raanta is in a great spot to make a winning start for his new club, as Chicago is slumping badly and can't seem to buy a win at the moment.
