Darrel Williams - Week 8 Outlook for Fantasy Football
3 years agoKansas City Chiefs running back Darrel Williams didn't see much action in Week 7 with five carries, but much of that was due to the fact that the Chiefs were playing from behind for the majority of the game. Onto Week 8, Williams will have a fresh start and it comes against a New York Giants defense that is vulnerable versus the run. Starting his third game of the season, Williams will face a Giants defense that is surrendering 112.5 yards a game to opposing runners and is also giving up five receptions for 48 yards in the passing game to running backs. As long as the Chiefs are able to stay in the game, Williams could be in for a big day on Monday evening. Williams continues to be the workhorse out of the Chiefs backfield with Clyde Edwards-Helaire (knee) on injured and should be considered a RB2 with sneaky RB1 in a favorable Week 8 matchup.
