Brock Boeser Scores 100th Career Goal
3 years agoVancouver Canucks right wing Brock Boeser scored a late consolation goal in Saturday's 2-1 loss to Edmonton, reaching 100 career goals. He needed the third-fewest games in franchise history to reach the milestone among players to debut with the team. Boeser produced five total shots on goal in 21:44 of action. It's not been a great start to the season for the 24-year-old, who sits on only two goals and one assist through six appearances, but he's developed into a consistent scorer and should end the slump soon. Boeser has scored with only 11.8 percent of his shots so far, while his career average stands at 13.5, and he's had multiple seasons with a 16-plus shooting percentage.
