3 years agoDetroit Lions running back Jamaal Williams (thigh, illness) won't play on Sunday against the Eagles. Williams had been riding a questionable tag but still practiced, albeit limited, throughout the week. This is a tough pill to swallow for managers, especially those in deeper formats benefiting from his above-average production. Nonetheless, it appears as if D'Andre Swift could see some more rushing attempts to add to his already busy schedule in Week 8. However, Godwin Igwebuike and Jermar Jefferson could also be involved against the Eagles with Williams out of the mix, although not enough to be relevant from a fantasy perspective.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
