Keenan Allen Puts Together A Nice Performance In Week 8
3 years agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen put together a nice performance in a Week 8 loss versus the New England Patriots. The reliable receiver was targeted 11 times on the afternoon and caught six balls for 77 yards and a touchdown. His touchdown came on a five-yard pass in the second quarter and gave the Chargers a 14-7 lead at the time. The veteran continues to be a steady source of points and consistency for managers. Moving forward, Allen will draw a tough battle against a solid Philadelphia Eagles secondary and there is a chance that he may be shadowed by cornerback Darius Slay. Regardless of that, Allen remains a big part of the Chargers offense and managers should remain confident starting him. With a solid floor of double-digit points in ppr leagues, Allen should be started as a WR2 with WR1 upside on a weekly basis.
