3 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin caught eight of 12 targets for 140 yards and a touchdown in a loss to New Orleans. With fellow receiver Antonio Brown (ankle) sidelined again and Mike Evans blanketed by the coverage of Marshon Lattimore, Godwin went to work, setting a new season-high in receiving yards while recording eight receptions for the second straight contest. The star wideout connected with quarterback Tom Brady in the red zone on a route over the middle of the field, sneaking into the end zone for his fourth score of the year. Godwin is heading into the Week 9 bye on fire, having eclipsed the century mark in receiving yards in each of his last two games played.--Tim Capurso
