3 years agoCarolina Hurricanes forward Martin Necas had a goal and an assist as the team continued its perfect start to the season with a 2-1 victory over Arizona. He knotted the game up from the blue line 16:57 into the second period and picked up a power-play helper on Brett Pesce's first goal of the season with 2:27 left in regulation. Necas led all skaters with four shots and blocked one effort in 17:04 on the ice. The 22-year-old probably hasn't started the season as well as he would've liked and many fantasy managers have started to lose faith in him, but Necas produced a very nice campaign last term and should be able to up his productivity. He'll head into November with only four points to his name.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
