3 years agoRyan Blaney just could not stay with the leaders on Sunday at Martinsville. He needed to get closer on the long run and could not do that either. The result was an 11th-place finish that left him out of the Championship Four. Blaney was so close to stage points and did not accumulate any. Again being outside the top ten in the stages hurt Blaney's title hopes. The Team Penske driver just was not fast enough to stay with the faster Hendricks or Joe Gibbs cars.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
