3 years agoTampa Bay Lightning defenseman Cal Foote will make his season debut in Monday's clash against Washington, replacing Jan Rutta in the lineup. The 22-year-old hasn't featured so far because he was recording from finger surgery. Foote was recalled from a conditioning stint in the AHL on Sunday. He skated in five games for the Syracuse Crunch, going pointless with a minus-five rating. Foote earned his first three career points last season in 35 NHL outings. The Englewood, Colorado is a highly-rated prospect but still raw and it will take quite some time until he becomes fantasy relevant.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
