Anthony Rendon Expects To Be Ready For Spring Training
3 years agoLos Angeles Angels third baseman Anthony Rendon (hip) said on Tuesday that he expects to be ready for the beginning of Spring Training after undergoing surgery in August. The 31-year old only played in 58 games this past season with the worst production of his career. He slashed .240/.329/.382 with six home runs, 34 RBI, and 24 runs. Rendon missed time on the injured list on three separate occasions, the last being a hip injury that ended his season on July 4. The Angels hope he can stay healthy in 2022 and put up numbers closer to his career .287/.369/.484 slash line. He should slot right back into the heart of the lineup and could give fantasy managers good value in the middle rounds.
