3 years agoAtlanta Braves left-hander Max Fried will start Game 6 of the World Series on Tuesday night. Fried is coming off a career-best season in 2021 as he pitched to a 3.04 ERA and a 3.49 FIP in 165.2 regular-season innings, registering 158 strikeouts and 41 walks. Tuesday's start will be the 27-year-old's second of the World Series. He previously allowed seven hits, six earned runs, and a walk in five innings during Atlanta's Game 2 loss. Including that outing, the left-handed starter has surrendered 26 hits, 13 earned runs, three home runs, and three walks in 21.2 postseason innings while striking out 23 batters.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
