Aaron Rodgers - Week 9 Outlook for Fantasy Football
3 years agoGreen Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 22-of-37 passes for 184 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in a Week 8 win over the Arizona Cardinals. He led the Packers to victory despite missing his top two wide receivers in Davante Adams and Allen Lazard, who were placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list ahead of last Thursday's game. The 37-year-old has been terrific in 2021, throwing for 1,894 yards and a 17:3 TD: INT ratio while rushing for 47 yards and two scores over eight games. He will get his top two targets back for Week 9 against the Kansas City Chiefs as Adams is expected to return to practice on Thursday while Lazard was officially activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list. The Chiefs' defense can't stop anyone and have given up the second-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. Rodgers is a surefire QB1 and a top-5 fantasy option in Week 9.
