3 years agoNew Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas (ankle) has a "new issue" with his ankle, per Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. "He has necessitated an appointment with a specialist recently," added Rapoport. The Saints have yet to activate the star-wide receiver from the injured reserve. According to Rapoport, the Saints tried to trade for a wide receiver, and Thomas' return date this season is "unpredictable." Fantasy managers should continue to stash Thomas for now, but it's unclear if he will return at any point this season. Marquez Callaway and Tre'Quan Smith are the Saints' top two wide receivers on the depth chart and will continue to see an uptick in targets while Thomas is sidelined.
