3 years agoColorado Avalanche defenseman Cale Makar (upper body) and winger Andre Burakovsky (lower body) will miss Wednesday's home game against Columbus. Both players should be considered day-to-day. Makar reached 100 career points last week and finished October with a very impressive run, notching five points across four games. Samuel Girard will take his spot on the first defensive pairing. Burakovsky had also started to heat up with assists in back-to-back games. With Mikko Rantanen (lower body) still missing, J.T.
