3 years agoCleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was excused from practice again Thursday as the continued rift between he and the Browns gets sorted out. Beckham is reportedly open to returning to the facility if the team wants him back, but even if he does, it's highly unlikely he has any rest-of-season value with the Browns. He would need to be released, claimed on waivers by a new team, and then learn their offense to become a factor this year. All while playing with a separated shoulder. There are teams allegedly "sniffing around" his availability, so you can hold in deep leagues just in case, but managers in shallow leagues can feel comfortable moving on. Meanwhile, Donovan Peoples-Jones could become intriguing as the de facto WR2 in Cleveland, but remember that this is a team that prefers to run the ball.--Eric Samulski - RotoBaller
