Adam Duvall Turns Down Option, To Remain With Atlanta
3 years agoAtlanta Braves outfielder Adam Duvall has declined his end of a $7 million dollar mutual option, instead opting to be a paid a $3 million dollar buyout. He does not become a free agent however, and he is now eligible for arbitration, where he figures to land a salary in the area of $9 million dollars. Duvall was largely undrafted in fantasy leagues in 2021, but he paid off investors to the tune of 38 home runs and 113 RBI, which was tops in the National League. He is a premier power-only option heading into the 2022 fantasy season.
