3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Boston Scott was great in Week 8, scoring two touchdowns in a rout over the Detroit Lions. Week 9 shapes up differently, with the playoff-hopeful Los Angeles Chargers as the opponent. Still, the Chargers defense has been awful against the run but strong against the pass. There could be plenty of rushing opportunities in this game as long as the Eagles defense can keep the game somewhat close. Scott may not score two touchdowns again and will split carries with Jordan Howard and Kenneth Gainwell, but he's a decent bye-week filler as long as Miles Sanders (ankle) remains out.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
