3 years agoHouston Texans running back Rex Burkhead (hip) was upgraded to a full participant in Thursday's practice. The veteran was limited on Wednesday, but appears to be headed in the right direction for a Week 9 date versus the Miami Dolphins. With Mark Ingram II being dealt to the New Orleans Saints, Burkhead saw 49% of the backfield snaps in Week 8. Managers in deeper formats can consider Burkhead, but shouldn't have huge expectations with the Texans using a running back by committee approach and operating as one of the weaker offenses in the league.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
