Josh Johnson Notches Over 300 Yards
3 years agoNew York Jets quarterback Josh Johnson stepped up and delivered against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 9. The third string QB was asked to take over after starter Mike White (forearm) went down after the second drive of the game. Johnson for some reason came in over newly added veteran quarterback Joe Flacco. Nonetheless, Johnson completed 27-of-41 passing attempts for 317 yards and three touchdowns with one interception in the loss. It's a nice stat line on paper, but most of his success came in garbage time in the fourth quarter. The Jets are uncertain if Zach Wilson (knee) or White will be able to play against the Buffalo Bills next week. Regardless, none of the options at QB for the Jets are appealing for the Week 10 matchup with Buffalo.
