3 years agoNew York Jets defensive back Marcus Maye has an Achilles injury, and "it doesn't look good," said head coach Robert Saleh. He suffered a non-contact injury in the third quarter of Thursday's loss to the Indianapolis Colts. It would be a "huge" blow if Maye's injury is as bad as it looks, said Saleh. "I'm sick for him, it's not looking good." The 28-year-old will undergo further evaluation, but Maye could miss the rest of the season if he suffered a torn Achilles, which is feared. He racked up 46 tackles and one sack over six games in 2021. Sharrod Neasman should see an expanded role while Maye is sidelined. Stay tuned for further updates.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
