Justin Herbert - Week 9 Outlook for Fantasy Football
3 years agoLos Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert has struggled in back-to-back starts and will face a tough Philadelphia Eagles defense in Week 9. The sophomore has shown signs of being a top-tier option at his position, but he has also thrown up a few dud performances. For the season, Herbert has thrown for 1,994 yards with 16 touchdowns and six interceptions through seven games. Despite his recent struggles, Herbert has shown much more good than bad on the year. The Eagles are allowing just 236 yards per game through the air and 1.75 touchdowns per game. They also have six interceptions, but three of those came in Week 5 versus the Carolina Panthers. Herbert should have plenty of motivation to get back on track, and the Chargers possess one of the most talented offenses in the league. Fantasy managers should feel safe about utilizing Herbert as a midrange QB1 in 12-team leagues in Week 9.
