3 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler has been one of the most efficient players at his position this season and will draw a favorable matchup versus the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 9. The Eagles defense has been allowing 106.62 yards per game on the ground and one touchdown. They are also allowing opposing running backs to feast as pass catchers by allowing 7.25 receptions and 49 yards per game. Both are positives for Ekeler and managers should expect him to get plenty of opportunities on Sunday. For the season, Ekeler has 420 rushing yards for five touchdowns and has caught 33 balls for 302 yards and three touchdowns.
