Saquon Barkley Expected To Miss Week 9
3 years agoNew York Giants running back Saquon Barkley (ankle), recently activated off the Reserve/COVID-19 list, is not expected to be ruled out this week against the Raiders later on Friday. Barkley returned to the facility after his false-positive test- though he was unable to practice Friday, as his injured ankle remains an issue. The star halfback is likely to be ruled out later today, as reported by NJ Advance Media's Zack Rosenblatt, a move that makes sense with the Week 10 bye coming up. Devontae Booker is trending towards another start as the lead back for New York against his former team, the Raiders. Las Vegas has allowed the 12th-most fantasy points per game to opposing halfbacks, putting Booker, who has seen at least 15 touches in every start sans Barkley, squarely in the RB2 discussion.
