3 years agoChase Elliott won the NASCAR Cup Championship at Phoenix last year after leading 153 of the laps (almost half the race). The Spring race last year saw the No. 9 car lead 93 laps. Now, this Spring was a bit of a different story but Elliott did manage a fifth-place result in a car that took some shots. The Hendrick Motorsports Racing car has seven top-ten finishes and has led nearly 12% of the laps over the past three seasons.
