Jacob Markstrom Pitches Shutout Against Rangers
3 years agoCalgary Flames goaltender Jacob Markstrom stopped all 22 saves he faced in a shutout over the New York Rangers on Saturday night in Calgary. Markstrom enjoyed arguably his easiest night of the season as he faced a handful of high-danger scoring chances from New York. The expected goals for was 3.24 to 1.7 on the night as the Calgary netminder had a rare easier night. Markstrom recorded his fifth win on the season, fourth shutout, and second goose egg against the New York Rangers.
