Kyler Murray's Status Won't Be Clear Until Pre-Game Warmups
3 years agoArizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray (ankle) remains a true game-time decision, and there isn't a ton of optimism that he'll play in Week 9 against the San Francisco 49ers. If you were looking for more clarity on his status overnight, you're out of luck. ESPN's Adam Schefter notes that Murray will be evaluated pregame before the team makes an official decision. If he can't go, Colt McCoy took all the first-team repetitions in practice this week and would start under center. McCoy took the entirety of first-team reps this week since Murray was unable to practice, but it's hard to tell just how much of an impact that will have towards the MVP candidate's status.
