3 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott played through a knee injury in a Week 9 loss to the Denver Broncos. Elliott was forced to leave the game with a knee issue, but returned soon after and was still playing near the end of a blowout loss that at one point saw the Cowboys trailing 30-0. It was a good sign that "Zeke" was in there for what would clearly be meaningless snaps, meaning he likely isn't dealing with a serious issue. He ended up running the ball 10 times for 51 yards and catching all three of the passes thrown his way for an additional 25 yards. Elliott and the Cowboys as a team will likely see better results in Week 10 against the Atlanta Falcons.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
