Jared Cook Goes For 48 Yards In Week 9
3 years agoLos Angeles Chargers tight end Jared Cook put together a solid performance in a Week 9 victory versus the Philadelphia Eagles. The veteran was targeted five times on the afternoon and caught four balls for 48 yards. Cook continues to be behind running back Austin Ekeler and wide receivers Keenan Allen and Mike Williams for touches, but remains a solid option in favorable matchups. Managers should note that backup tight ends Stephen Anderson and Donald Parham Jr. both saw a good amount of action on Sunday and both caught touchdowns on the afternoon. Next up for Cook will be a Week 10 date versus a Minnesota Vikings defense that has been one of the best versus the tight end position this season and Cook should only be considered in the deepest leagues for that matchup.
