3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts completed 11 passes on 17 attempts in a Week 9 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. He gained 162 yards through the air and tossed for a touchdown. He also ran the ball 10 times for 62 yards on the ground. It was a decent performance for Hurts, who kept the Eagles very much in the game until a last-second Chargers field goal gave Los Angeles a win. Hurts had a Chargers defense that was missing the top two defensive backs, but the Eagles still focused thoroughly on the running game. There have been rumblings of the Eagles possibly moving to Gardner Minshew under center, but Hurts figures to get at least a few more chances until that switch occurs.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
